This loud mouth handsome hound is a son of PKC Gold Champion Lytle Creek Mountain Man who was Top Male PKC Open winner in the year 2000. Mountain Man’s owner was a brick mason who could not go to the hunts in the summer but still won Top Male of the Year. After Mountain Man got killed his owner tried several dogs and then quit hunting. Ole Mountain Man was a grandson of Grand Nite Champion E.F. Hutton.

Byrd Man is a layup specialist who treed six singles the night I bought him. I have seen him raise his head in the air before I cut him loose and when I cut him he would run across the field and fall treed. His big loud locate is so loud that his five Nite Champion wins were by 5 different handlers. One win was by a handler who had never seen him before the night he won Nite Champion and high scoring dog.

One Saturday night Byrd Man slipped his collar and got treed behind a neighbor who could not reach anyone until after church and Ole Byrd was still treed at two o’clock Sunday afternoon. He trees so loud and hard that my Dad has started back hunting at 87 years old just to sit in the truck and hear Ole Byrd tree them coons!

Byrd Man is the best natured dog I have ever seen. He is not mean toward man nor beast. He is co-owned with my brotherin-law, Alan Daughtry (910-897-4998).

Big Money has an extremely loud hound mouth. Short bawl on track; locates with 2 or 3 long bawls and turns it over into a loud hard chop on the tree. Money opens on the track the way an intelligent hound should and moves tracks extremely fast. Money, at 19 months old, is an outstanding hound.

Grntch Revenge is out of Danny Coles Dixie female. Dixie is currently #5 on the reproducer list. Revenge has three littermate ntch sisters and one more sister that just needs a first. Pride reminds me of his great granddaddy (Grand Nite Champion Neuse River Rambo) so much it is hard to keep from calling him Rambo. Like ole Rambo, he has an uncanny ability to split tree a live coon when the other dogs pull up slick. Also like ole Rambo, time and time again he has stayed split treed while we shoot a coon to dogs treed nearby. Pride trees so loud and hard that hearing him tree once is a big thrill. He is seventh generation of Neuse River studs since 1969. He is sired by UKC Grand Nite Champion PKC Gold Champion Neuse River McGruff. Prides mother is granddaughter of Stanley Brigmans ole Martha. Pride was winning PKC added purse hunts at a young age.
